This support group will introduce students to the benefits of practicing self-guided storytelling as they face imminent social threats to their safety and future. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet Clinical Social Worker, Carolina González, who will facilitate the on-going group beginning February 8th and running through the spring semester.
Through the lenses of narrative therapy students will create a brave space to discuss how current events and social constructs of race, class, and gender shape their identity as undocumented students. Participants will be encouraged to re-author and share their own narratives while challenging the dominant discourse of oppression.
**Please note: if you do not feel comfortable voicing your thoughts or providing your information, a survey is available for you to fill out anonymously.
